HYBRID Training Series
Our NEW HYBRID Training is the next best option to private lessons! This elite-level skill training will focus on helping your athlete create sound techniques to be able to master skills and prepare for the next level of play.
This program includes brief classroom sessions, homework assignments associated with learning modules, and personalized feedback from one of our club coaches. The homework assignments generally involve videoing yourself doing a drill and then evaluating your video according to the assigned homework questions. This can be done in your living room, backyard, or driveway. This system allows each player to control their own growth and advance at their own pace. Athletes can submit homework up to 1-3 times a day, every day of the week. Personalized feedback will be sent weekly or biweekly via email, depending on the frequency of which you are submitting the homework.
It generally takes 1-2 months to advance through each learning module. Each skill has multiple learning modules. Once our coaches see sufficient mastery of the module, they advance the player to the next module.
As additional support, in-person sessions will be offered regularly to talk to coaches in person, get instant feedback, and ask questions. These sessions are recommended but not required so you may attend as many or as few as you feel you need. Each month the available sessions will be posted on our website. These are not structured practices but rather a time set aside for your athlete to talk to a coach in person about the homework assignments and have an opportunity to try what they’ve practiced with a ball.
You may also schedule individual video review sessions for an additional fee.
*This program is NOT the traditional train in a gym with a team and coach set up. It requires self-motivation and honest self-evaluation. The work is done at home through precise reps. The athlete has full control over how much they get out of this program.
The purpose of this program is to establish correct muscle memory and technique. Then the athlete is free to focus on position, timing, strategy, team play, etc. in the gym.
We are excited about the possibilities that this at-home training format can offer our athletes:
- the opportunity to do a high volume of reps (without needing access to a gym)
- the guidance to do these reps correctly
- the structure to create correct muscle memory movements
- the flexibility to train in between practices and on vacations
- personalized feedback that can be digested slowly and repeatedly
- In-Person Opportunities Available (along with home training):
- June 5, 12, 19, 26: Setting from 5-6pm, Hitting from 6-7pm
- July 10, 17, 24: Setting from 5-6pm, Hitting from 6-7pm
