COACH CAT

HEAD COACH 134 RUBY(2026-2027)

Coach Cat grew up in League City, Texas, where she began playing volleyball at age 13. She quickly fell in love with the sport and went on to play for her middle school and high school teams, as well as local club teams. Her passion for volleyball continued throughout college and into adulthood, where she played in intramural and adult leagues.

In addition to coaching with Austin Velocity, Cat has served as a head coach for a local Austin charter school volleyball team. This will be her second year as the JV head coach and her first year serving as an assistant coach for the Varsity team. She is passionate about helping athletes grow both on and off the court while fostering a team environment built on confidence, communication, and trust.

Volleyball has always been a family affair for Cat. She credits much of her coaching foundation to her stepfather, who was also her varsity volleyball coach. His influence helped shape her approach to coaching, with an emphasis on building strong team connections, developing confidence in each player, and creating a positive and memorable experience for everyone who steps onto the court. With this knowledge, along with her years of experience, Coach Cat is dedicated to developing young athletes into strong, confident leaders who embrace challenges, demonstrate consistent effort, and support those around them.
