COACH AMANDA

HEAD COACH 152 EMERALD(2026-2027)

Amanda is a lifelong volleyball athlete and coach from Round Rock, Texas, with nearly two decades of experience in the sport. She began playing at age 8 and competed as a setter throughout her high school career, followed by five years of club volleyball beginning at age 11. Her experience as an athlete has provided her with a strong foundation in the technical and competitive aspects of the game, which she now brings to her work as a coach.

Amanda has been part of the Austin Velocity Volleyball program since 2020, serving in both coaching and administrative capacities. Throughout her time with the club, she has coached multiple age groups and levels while also contributing to the day-to-day administration and operations of the program. Her experience within the club has given her a well-rounded understanding of both athlete development and the organizational side of competitive volleyball. In addition, Amanda plays an active role in the organization and coordination of Spike Frog Volleyball’s recreational leagues, helping oversee league operations and create a positive experience for athletes, families, and coaches.

Her passion for volleyball extends beyond the court. Amanda is committed to developing well-rounded athletes by helping them build technical skills, confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the game. She takes pride in creating a positive and competitive environment where athletes are challenged to grow while feeling supported and encouraged.

Amanda is also pursuing education in sports medicine, working toward becoming a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Precision Nutrition Coach (PNC). She is passionate about combining her knowledge of athletic development, strength and conditioning, and nutrition to support athletes both on and off the court.
