COACH SARA

HEAD COACH 131 DIAMOND(2026-2027)

Coach Sara is originally from La Vernia, Texas. She began playing volleyball in youth programs and continued competing through Middle School and High School before moving to Austin to attend Concordia University Texas, where she also played at the collegiate level.

Passionate about the sport, Coach Sara is dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the court. She strives to instill confidence, discipline, and motivation in her players, helping them reach their full potential.

Prior to relocating to Austin in 2014, she coached with La Vernia Volleyball Club and has since become a valued member of the Austin Velocity coaching staff. In addition to her club responsibilities, Coach Sara assists with trainings and clinics and offers one-on-one training sessions during the off-season to provide athletes with additional opportunities for growth.
