COACH CAMIE

HEAD COACH 155 OPAL(2026-2027)

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Coach Camie’s first love was beach volleyball. Her dad introduced her to the sport at a young age, teaching her the ins and outs of playing on the sand. By the age of eight, she had also started playing indoor volleyball and was hooked for life. In high school, Camie competed on varsity all four years as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. She served as captain for two of those seasons and earned 1st Team All-District honors three years in a row. After moving to San Marcos, she attended Texas State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree while continuing to play beach volleyball extensively and club volleyball for several semesters.

Coach Camie has been coaching since 2019 and coaching at the club level since the 2022-2023 season. She loves everything about the game and enjoys watching athletes grow not only in skill, but also as individuals. She is passionate about instilling a strong work ethic and dedication in every athlete she works with and is excited for the journey ahead.
