COACH ZOE
2025-2026 155 Opal Head Coach
Zoe, originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, developed a love for volleyball at a young age while growing up in a family deeply connected to the sport. With a mother who played and coached and a sister who also played competitively, volleyball has always been an important part of Zoe’s life.
In high school, Zoe stood out as both a leader and a competitor. She was named Most Improved Player during her junior year, served as team captain during her senior year, and earned several accolades, including Best Offensive Player, All-District First Team, and All-Region Second Team. Outside of school, she competed as a six-rotation setter for eight years with various club volleyball programs, developing a strong foundation in leadership and technical skills.
After high school, Zoe continued her athletic and academic journey at UVA Wise, where she played three years of NCAA Division II volleyball as a setter. Her commitment extended beyond the court, and she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Now entering her second season as a coach, Zoe brings years of playing experience and a deep passion for teaching and encouraging young athletes. She is excited to give back to the game that has shaped her life and inspire the next generation of players with the same dedication and energy she brought to her own career.
Beyond volleyball, Zoe is a proud mom to a four-year-old son. She is excited to balance her roles as a coach and parent while continuing to grow within the sport she loves.
