COACH ZOE

2025-2026 155 Opal Head Coach

Zoe, originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, developed a love for volleyball from a young age, growing up in a family deeply connected to the sport. With a mother who played and coached, and a sister who also played competitively, volleyball has always been a part of Zoe’s life.

In high school, Zoe stood out as a leader and competitor. She was named Most Improved Player as a junior, served as Team Captain her senior year, and earned several accolades including Best Offensive Player, All-District First Team, and All-Region Second Team. Outside of school, she competed as a six-rotation setter for eight years with various club volleyball programs, gaining a strong foundation in both leadership and technical skill.

After high school, Zoe continued her athletic and academic journey at UVa-Wise, where she played three years of NCAA Division II volleyball as a setter. Her commitment extended beyond the court, earning her a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Now stepping into her first season as a coach, Zoe brings not only years of experience as a player but also a deep passion for teaching and encouraging young athletes. She’s excited to give back to the game that has shaped her life and to inspire the next generation of players with the same dedication and energy she brought to her own career.

Beyond volleyball, Zoe is a proud mom to a three-year-old son, and she is excited to balance the roles of coach and parent while continuing to grow in the sport she loves.
