Originally from Chicago and raised in Puerto Rico, Jeremy Miranda has been passionate about volleyball since he was 11. With seven years as an indoor player (primarily as a setter) and five years of beach volleyball experience, he brings a well-rounded perspective to coaching. Now living in Austin, Texas, Jeremy is excited to kick off his first season with Austin Velocity.

Jeremy’s coaching experience includes four years as a head coach as well as assistant coaching, working with both boys’ and girls’ teams from ages 14 to 18. He’s also coached high school teams, including senior boys and freshman/sophomore groups. His goal as a coach is to give players the skills, strategies, and confidence they need to excel, drawing on his background in both indoor and beach volleyball.

With his high energy, enthusiasm, and big goals for the season, Jeremy is eager to create a positive, growth-focused environment where players can refine their game and reach their full potential. He’s excited to work with Austin Velocity’s athletes and help them grow this season!

He is certified by IMPACT, SafeSport, Gold Medal Squared, and the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation.
