COACH KENDALL
2025-2026 132 Emerald Head Coach
Coach Kendall was born and raised in Houston, where she started playing volleyball at age 8. She continued through high school where she was a 3-year varsity member as a middle blocker and outside hitter and played in club leagues during the summers. After high school, she moved to College Station, Texas, where she studied Business Administration at Texas A&M. Each
summer, she came home and coached her high school team’s summer league. She moved to Austin after graduating in 2020 and continues to work in the area. Coach Kendall fills her life with volleyball whether it is coaching small groups, lessons, camps, as well as anything else she manages to it into her schedule. This is her third year coaching for Austin Velocity, and she is so excited to be a part of such an incredible organization. She can’t wait to continue to be a part of the development of young athletes and to share her love for the sport!
Coach Kendall is safe sport and IMPACT certified.
COACH LUCAS
2025-2026 132 Emerald Assistant Coach
Coach Lucas is a dynamic and enthusiastic volleyball coach who grew up in Round Rock, Texas. With four years of dedicated experience both on and off the court, playing and coaching, he brings passion, energy, and professionalism to any team he coaches. Coach Lucas’ passion for sports extends past the volleyball court with experience coaching baseball as well, which allows him to pull from a variety of perspectives. Coach Lucas combines clear communication with positive reinforcement to inspire confidence and growth. Coach Lucas strives to create and maintain a positive environment for athletes to push themselves and their peers. This is Coach Lucas’ second year coaching with Austin Velocity and he is excited for another season!
